Taking it easy this am. Gareth and I walk to the town of Chemuyil to stock up on fruit. It’s Sabado so that means the fruit guy is in town. We buy mango, pineapple, papaya, jicama, oranges, tomatos and limes. Then we stop at the Maseca tortilla factory and then visit the chicken guy to bring home lunch.
After lunch, we all decide to hit the bat cenote cause it’s just so close. Plus.. it’s in a cave and many of us our slightly burnt, so it a great break for our skin.
Rorie and Twee always seem to walk hand in hand. So sweet
Grandma is happy to get her feet in the water. The fish in this cenote aren’t interested in nibbling toes though.
We then went home for some card games and a seista. Then it was time to hit the town of Chemuyil and go out for dinner.
Gryf and I shared a just caught Red Snapper. We had been searching for fresh fish and we stoked to finally get some.
Friends of Twyla and Gryf invited everyone over to watch a movie outside. They had a deluxe set up and everyone enjoyed such a treat.
