Dia Dos

Good morning Mexico! I wake up with sea itch rash all over my left upper arm and shoulder from my swim yesterday. I was the only one that went past the seaweed flaring in the ocean, so we are guessing the microscopic jellyfish larvae were just out there. Doh!

Kai can’t wait to go back to the Bat Cenote. He and I test out the bikes on a mini adventure. My pedal ends up falling off, but we have a great little 5 min bike ride to an amazing spot

Pretty amazing spot! A few bats flying around and crystal clear water. Kai could wait to swim in there again.

Grandma loves walking around the street taking photos of the flowers. She remembers how she gave Dad such a hard time about spending so much on the camera, but that it really is such a good camera. She can’t believe the amazing photos it takes.

After lunch we take a walk to another cenote.

Such an AMAZING spot. The water was crystal clear. The perfect temperature. So much fun.

Grandma spots some orchid plants in our way back after spending a couple hours playing in the water.

Marlo and Gareth before we split wats to our separate casas for our afternoon seista time.
