We start the day with breakfast and then a family campfire meeting to decide how the day will flow. 
Lotsaof games and good times to celebrate Dads birthday today.
Scott, Gryffi and I head to Canyon on the Lower Lake to try our hand at fishing, but had no luck. Had the place almost to ourselves. Smoky,but still beautiful. This is where Ardith had suggested fishing from shore.
We come back to camp for lunch and games.
The kids have been waiting for s’mores. We finally pull it off. Gluten free and soooo sweet.
We then head out to celebrate Dads birthday with a hike to the waterfall on the Upper Kananaskiis lake.
We fish and play and clinb and remember Dad. There are years and laughter. We each scatter his ashes in a special spot and take a moment to say out last words. We have a Jube June sucking contest. We see our first big fish jump. We all sing happy birthday to the lake to celebrate Dads birthday.
We head back to camp for dinner and a campfire. Some of us go to the interpretive show - this time it’s the true story of goldilocks and the three bears. This time Twyla and I play a part as bearberry and bearberry scat. We have a whistling contest around the campfire when we get back and then head to bed after a long and fulfilling day.

The smoke breaks a little and we can finally see some of the peaks as we walk back along the lake. Talking, searching for heart rocks and end out walk with a little fish and some ground squirrel and chipmunk watching.
