Kai did not want to get out of bed today. He was just done. Breakfast in bed and a slow morning helped.
So... Kai was just too tired to go to the dance that was scheduled for tonight. Plus... I think he just needed a little nature and sunshine. We chose to go see the stone barn garden and found all sorts of other amazing things along our way.
We strolled along the lake for a bit and then sat outside the drama building and listened to some live music before heading back to the hotel for an early night.
I headed to the skate park while Kai was at camp. It was my first time at the Leduc skate park and I was impressed.
Once at camp he was stoked he came. Some video footage was taken on the ice today. Seems Kai has finally figured out his new shoes and his switch to bracing behind his shoulder instead of his neck.
This afternoon was a special group phys ed class with gold, purple, green and teal. Then they had a cheer off with all the teams.

On our walk we found a massive community garden. It was mind blowing. I’ve toured community gardens all over the place and this one was spectacular.
