We spend a couple hours here and then head back out into the tourist Mecca of Tulum Ruinas. There are masses and masses of people entering the site. We are happy we got up early and didn’t have to deal. We walk the streets leading back to the highway and find all sorts of exciting things happening.
Kai finally gets the hammock chair he’s been wishing for for years. The kids climb an amazing tree and we check out some artwork.
We all squeeze in for a collectivo ride home
Rorie and I take a quick trip to the beach, and then we all head to La Palapa for dinner. Here they show us some of our dinner choices.
Mar and I were pleased with our appetizers that we shared for our meals.
We then stop to play in the park, pick up some fruitas and tortillas before the head home.
We end the day by dipping our tired toesies in the pool before heading to bed. Two more sleeps till our trip will be over. We definitely packed it in today.
